Okatmos UG 30
Description
Solvent-free, acrylic based primer with aggregates providing excellent bonding characteristics. Okatmos® UG 30 will bond and adhere to absorbent and non-absorbent substrates before interior levelling work or tile and natural stone installations. Okatmos® UG 30 can also be applied over properly prepared cut-back adhesives, old or badly sanded asphalt floors, terrazzo, tile, particle board, chipboard, OSB, cement backer units, concrete screeds and well bonded ceramic tiles.
When used over existing exterior tiles, a waterproofing membrane Servoflex DMS 1K Plus SuperTec is required. Metal and similar substrates must be rust-free and cleaned with acetone. Odourless and environmentally friendly. As part of the Okatmos®-product-line, Okatmos® UG 30 avoids the development of odours and stenches originating in microbial interactions in the floor-structure. It is therefore very suitable for renovation purposes.

Drying time*
Approx. 0,5 hours (over cementitious substrate). Over calcium sulfate floors and wooden structure at least 24 hours.

* At 68 °F (+20 °C) and 65 % relative humidity.
Higher temperature and low humidity decreases, lower temperature and high humidity increases this value respectively.
- Substrate Preparation
The substrate must be dry, clean and load-bearing ready. Remove all dry and loose particles and bitumen cut-back mechanically.
- Processing
Shake container before use.
Apply Okatmos® UG 30 undiluted onto substrate with lamb skin roller, brush or similar. Dilute Okatmos® UG 30 for porous concrete, untreated floors and other absorbent and / or gypsum based substrates 1:1 with water. Do not begin levelling or installation before primer has completely dried.
