Okatmos EG 20

Description
Solvent-free, very low emission primer with high bond strength for the preparation of non-absorbent and absorbent substrates as well as over old, load bearing and waterprooof cut back adhesive residue (no bitumen-based cut back adhesive).
Extremely short drying time. For advanced Indoor-Air-Quality. Prevents smell and odors origination in microbial interactions between the floor covering and the application surface, especially in renovation projects. Can be diluted to a maximum of 1:3 with water on concrete substrates

At + 20 °C and 65% relative. Humidity. Higher temperatures and lower humidity shorten these values, while lower temperatures and higher humidity lengthen these values accordingly.
- Substrate Preparation
The substrate must be tested and ready for installation in accordance with VOB Part C, DIN 18 365 or DIN 18 356 as well as the state of the art. Pre-treat substrates in accordance with the current BEB information sheet “Assessing and preparing substrates” and information sheet TKB-8.
- Processing
Apply Okatmos® EG 20 to the surface with a lambskin roller or brush. Avoid puddles and layer formation. On cement or calcium sulfate screeds, dilute Okatmos® EG 20 with water in a ratio of 1:1 to 1:3, depending on absorbency. Use Okatmos® EG 20 undiluted on dense, non-absorbent surfaces and wooden surfaces . The hygienising effect remains until diluted 1:1. Only start filling work after it is completely dry.
